Joby and Archer announce divergent electric charging system agreements

Joby Aviation Inc. and Archer Aviation Inc. — two competitors in the realm of electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft — both announced agreements this week to work with Atlantic Aviation to electrify aviation infrastructure.

That may be where the similarities end, however. The companies are pursuing divergent electric charging systems.
